Library Practice (Period 7)

The major emphasis of this service course is to provide students with opportunities to develop a working knowledge of the school library. The course emphasizes leadership, self-direction, self-motivation, and encourages enrichment through reading. It provides opportunities to meet the public, develop technical skills, and consider librarianship as a career through training as a service worker.
