Hi this is Ms. Jia (Jia Lao shi). This is my third year at HPHS teaching Mandarin. I am a native Chinese, who grew up in China. I came to the US for college and grad schools, and completed my college degree in different States, including New York, Oregon, and Tennessee. I also went to USC and LMU for my Master’s degrees and teaching credentials. As an ESL learner myself, I discovered my passion and potential in teaching Mandarin as a foreign language along the journey of studying, living, and working abroad. I hope to bring my language learning and teaching experience to our school community. I look forward to meeting all of you!
