Getting to Know Ms. Perkins

Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Nicole Perkins, I am the Physical Education Department Chair and one of the Advanced PE 9th and 10th grade teachers. I have been teaching for 18 years and I have been the Department Chair for 8 years. I played D1 college basketball at Middle Tennessee State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, and won two championships. I also attended CSU Long Beach where I received my teaching credential in Physical Education. I coached girls basketball for 17 years, after I graduated from college, and won a D1 championship in 2018. I now coach girls and boys volleyball here at HP and this will be my second year in this position.

I am the only girl of three brothers (a twin brother and two older brothers) which is where I get my hustle, hard work, determination and perseverance. I am an intrinsic, happy person who has extrinsic tendencies that pop out every now and again. I am very family-oriented and I love working as a PE teacher. I look forward to teaching and mentoring your child throughout the school year.
