Welcome to Mr. Woods' Class

Mr. Woods is an Education Specialist at Huntington Park Senior High School, where he has been teaching for six years. He supports students using the Modified Core Curriculum and currently focuses on the subject of Government/Economics. He also teaches the Student Based Enterprise elective for the 2025-2026 school year. It is Mr. Woods' goal to see that students have as much access and be included in all aspects of campus life as possible. To that end, Mr. Woods is also one of the sponsors of the Spartan Buddies club on campus which brings together students from all across campus for fun activities and events. 

 

Mr. Woods received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona where he graduated summa cum laude. He received a Master of Education in Special Education from American College of Education. He attained his teaching credential through LAUSD's Intern, Credentialing, and Added Authorization Program (iCAAP) and cleared his credential there as well.
