LIB Technology (Spring Semester) (Period 7)

Course Description

 

Library Technology is an elective, not just a service class. Your grade in this course is part of your overall high school GPA.

OBJECTIVES

Objective 1:  To correctly and effectively use library technology.

Objective 2:  To communicate effectively and concisely, both written and verbal.

Objective 3:  To create dynamic materials in a variety of formats.

Objective 4:  To become information literate by accessing, evaluating, and citing credible and relevant resources pertaining to any subject, correctly summarizing and paraphrasing sources without plagiarizing.

Objective 5:  To become independent-thinking, problem-solving, self-sufficient, self-directed individuals.

The student will independently pursue information to become a lifelong learner. 

The student will learn and demonstrate the fundamentals of using and managing a school library.
