PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Greetings Spartan Families!

Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! Whether you’re a returning Spartan or joining us for the first time, we’re thrilled to have you as part of our community. A special welcome goes out to our incoming 9th graders.

If I had to choose one word to define this upcoming school year, it would be OPPORTUNITIES. Over the past few years, we’ve worked diligently to enhance our school facilities and expand our instructional programs. From a new swimming pool and state-of-the-art buildings to the introduction of Italian language courses, a CTE VAPA Pathway, and collaborations with Columbia University and Morehouse College, the opportunities available to you are broader than ever before. These new additions complement our established programs, including the STEAM Magnet, Athletics, Academic Decathlon, Debate, Music, Arts, etc.

But remember, opportunities are like parachutes—they only work when you open them. I encourage each of you to embrace these opportunities with enthusiasm and determination. By committing yourself to effort, perseverance, and resolve, you’ll unlock the full potential of what this year has to offer, leading to immense growth and learning.
