Welcome to the HPHS Science Department! We are a close knit group of teachers who work together to promote science! We use phenomena based instruction and allow students to work together to "figure out science." MESA (Math, Engineering, Science Achievement)
MESA is a program embedded wihtin the school day as well as hosted as an after school club. The mission of MESA is to motivate and prepare dsiadvantaged middle and high school sdtudents for college enrollment and majors in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).MESA activites include Boeing Day at Cal State LA, MESA competition, and a MESA recognition/awards ceremony.
