Social Studies Department
The Social Science Department at Huntington Park High School is dedicated to providing students with a great learning experience that focuses on carrying out the mission of the school. Through our history courses, students will use a variety of resources to deepen their understanding of history, geography, government, and more. Our wonderful team of educators is committed to providing a deep understanding of the human experience, past and present. Through engaging and thought-provoking instruction, we aim to empower our students to become informed global citizens, critical thinkers, and active participants in society.
We offer a diverse range of courses including World History, U.S. History, Government, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, and more. Through those courses, our goal is to foster critical thinking, global awareness, and civic engagement among our students!
