Advanced Band
Advanced Band is a year-long musical ensemble for the school’s most advanced musicians. Students must have at least one year of playing experience and approval from the music teacher to join this class. Advanced band includes all wind instruments: flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone, trumpet, tuba, french horn, baritone, and percussion. There are two periods of advanced band, one for the wind players and one for percussion. This group performs at festivals and concerts of various types at set times throughout the year. This group performs 4 or more times per year.
Advanced Band WINDS (flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone, tuba) is Period 3.
